Yesterday the internet was all a buzz when the “new zodiac” debuted, significantly changing most peoples zodiac signs. It was also revealed that the “new zodiac” didn’t affect anybody born before 2009, but the astrology fans weren’t feeling the new chart. Reports released today reveal that nothing has changed at all.
I’ll save the confusing astrology mumbo-jumbo, but according to a blog post CNN.com, astrology experts confirm that the tropical zodiac, which is most commonly followed, has remained the same. “That’s because the tropical zodiac – which is fixed to seasons, and which Western astrology adheres to – differs from the sidereal zodiac – which is fixed to constellations and is followed more in the East, and is the type of zodiac to which the Star Tribune article ultimately refers.”
Ophiuchus, the 13th sign has always existed, it’s just not apart of the tropical zodiac. Get it? Two zodiacs. That’s nothing new.
